Little did I know how this book would impact my life in the years to come. In 2000, we launched Usborne’s first internet-linked book, the Usborne Science Encyclopedia, featuring links to over 1000 recommended websites. But what you probably didn’t know is that Quicklinks is run - not from one of the Usborne offices - but from a secret bunker up in Scotland.
